CNC machine tool operators know that every time they open the enclosure’s door it’s smart to wait a few moments to allow the mist and smoke vapors to dissipate. After all, no one wants to stick his or her head inside until the air clears.

Now there’s an easy way to protect your operator’s health while saving precious time. The Haas Enclosure Exhaust System keeps the inside of your CNC machine free from the coolant mist and smoke produced during the machining process. It works by pulling the vapors out of the machine tool and passing it through two reusable filters. You’ll even save coolant costs, because the system reclaims coolant from the mist and drains it back into the machine.

The unit easily mounts on the machine tool enclosure with four bolts, and a single cable runs to the machine’s controller which powers the system and alerts when filters need cleaning. The filters easily slide out for cleaning with compressed air, water or even the coolant hose.

A video explains all the details and demonstrates exactly how the system works.
