Gene Haas GrantEach year the Gene Haas Foundation awards grants and scholarships to help schools prepare students to pursue careers in manufacturing. Recently, the Foundation awarded a $7,500 grant to Northwoods Manufacturing, a program of Hurley High School in Hurley Wisconsin. Bill Dymond and Dave Kramer from you Milwaukee Haas Factory Outlet recently presented the check and toured the facility.

Northwoods Manufacturing is a student-run business developed by the school to teach manufacturing fundamentals and develop good work habits and ethics. To give the students a real world experience, the program contracts manufacturing jobs from local industries.

If you know of a deserving school or student and would like to apply for a grant or scholarship, visit the Gene Haas Foundation web site to learn about eligibility requirements and application procedures.
